- MyCode Services — software tools and SaaS applications for teams and businesses (current and upcoming).
This policy explains what data may be collected across our products, how it is handled, who it may be shared with, and what rights you have as a user. Specific disclosures per product are listed in the App-Specific Table at the end of this document.
Section 1: MyCode Games
This section applies to all games published by MyCode Technologies under the MyCode Games brand on any platform, including but not limited to Google Play Store, Itch.io, and Steam.
1.1 Data We Collect
MyCode Technologies does not directly collect, store, or process personal data from players of our games. Our games do not require account creation, login, or any form of user registration.
However, our games integrate third-party advertising and analytics SDKs. These third-party services may automatically collect limited technical and device-level data in order to serve advertisements, measure performance, and prevent fraud. This data is collected and processed by those third parties under their own privacy policies.
Data that may be collected by third-party SDKs integrated into our games includes:
- Device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID / AAID, device model, OS version)
- Advertising IDs used for ad targeting and frequency capping
- Crash logs and diagnostics for app stability monitoring
- App interaction data (e.g., session duration, in-app events)
- Approximate location derived from IP address (not GPS; used for ad serving)
- Network information (e.g., connection type, carrier)
We do not receive or store this data on our own servers. It remains with the respective third-party SDK providers.
1.2 Third-Party SDKs and Partners
The following third-party services may be integrated in one or more of our games. Each operates under its own privacy policy:
| Service | Purpose | Privacy Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Unity Technologies (Unity Ads) | Advertising – IAB TCF Compliant | https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy |
| MAS (Managed Ad Solution) / COOPA-Compliant Ad Networks | Advertising (COPPA Compliant) | https://policy.yodo1.com/website/en/privacy.html |
As we add new games or update existing ones, we will update this section and the App-Specific Table(s) accordingly.
1.3 Offline Gameplay
Most of our games are fully/partially playable offline. Internet access, when declared as a permission, is used exclusively for:
- Serving advertisements (ad SDKs require network access)
- Sending crash and performance diagnostic data to third-party analytics providers
As of now, we do not use internet access to communicate with our own servers, sync game saves to cloud storage, or track users independently.
1.4 App Permissions
Our games may request the following permissions. Each permission is used only as described:
| Permission | Reason |
|---|---|
| Internet | Required by advertising and analytics SDKs |
| Storage (Read/Write) | Local game save data, stored only on your device |
We do not request camera, microphone, contacts, or location permissions in any current game. If future titles require additional permissions, this policy will be updated accordingly.
1.5 Children’s Policy
Our games are designed for general audiences, including but not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Our advertising partners (Unity Ads, MAS) are configured to comply with applicable children’s advertising standards, including COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) and Google Play Families Policy where applicable.
- Personalized advertising is not knowingly served to users identified as children.
- Our games listed under the Google Play Families policy comply with those additional requirements.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has been exposed to data collection in violation of these standards, please contact us at contact@mycodetechnologies.com and we will investigate promptly.
1.6 User Rights (Games)
Since our games do not collect personal data directly, most data access or deletion requests must be directed to the third-party SDK providers listed above.
However, you may opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device settings:
- On Android: Settings → Google → Ads → opt out of Ads Personalization
- Alternatively, reset your Advertising ID from the same menu
We do not maintain user accounts or databases for our games, so there is no personal data held with us to delete.
